   I am in tears. There is no doubt in my mind that you are going to change the world for the Kingdom. You have a beautiful testimony, and I can only imagine the platform that you will continue to have through your story. I will be praying for you daily. I know your journey is just beginning! I am so very, very proud of you!!

2. Oh, Maddie! Thank you so much for sharing this. I knew that there was a dark time for you, but I had no idea how dark. What a beautiful testimony of God’s goodness and mercy. You know, we all live with scars — some more visible than others. But as you so eloquently put it, they can serve as reminders of God’s amazing grace and restoration in our lives. I know mine do!! I recently heard an amazing sermon on Romans 8:28 (which I had read and quoted a million times in my life!!). The gist of it was that God does use ALL things to work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to his purpose. ALL things includes not only our suffering, but our SIN!!! How cool is that??? He is truly an amazing Father God. Know that you are very much in our thoughts and prayers as you seek how/where God will use you in the future. I have a feeling it will be in many ways and in many places. You are truly beautiful, Maddie. Inside and out. 🙂 Love you.

3. Oh, and one more thing (your mom and I have talked about this): I think we can be assured that God has got amazing things in store for you — Satan has worked awfully hard to make sure those things never happened! So proud of you for doing what you needed to do, girl.

5. Wow. What amazing testimony. I’ve only known you for the last 6 months or so, so hearing you talk about this darker period in your life is almost literally unbelievable to me. I’ve only known the happy, thoughtful, energized you, and what care and love you’ve shown for my children. I’m truly blessed that YOU have turned your life around, because my family loves and adores you. Best of luck with raising money for your mission trip, and we are behind you in all that you do, “Miss Madeline”.

8. Your time in darkness made you stronger, Maddie. He sends us on these journeys for a reason but ultimately so that He is glorified and you reflect His grace and goodness. I am so proud of who you were, who you are, and who you are going to be.
